Entrepreneur of Impact 2026 - Day 9, Round 1: Teaching How to NULU & Competition Update

Last week I did a webinar with the Assistive Technology Advocacy Center (ATAC) in New Jersey. As I have highlighted, NULU is now in 36 state adaptive programs, but what matters is not just being in those programs—it’s how the product is actually used.

ATAC brought us in to walk through real use cases: standing, seated, vision-impaired, and different types of food. The goal wasn’t to show the knife. It was to show how to use it in a way that is efficient, safe, and actually delivers the benefit—more independence.

That’s the difference. This isn’t just about putting a product in someone’s hands. It’s about making sure it creates a real change in what they can do.

Competition update: currently 2nd out of 88. Top 20 move on. Round ends April 2.
