Entrepreneur of Impact 2026 - Day 11, Round 1 (LAST DAY): The Precursor of Impact & Competition Update

Impact does not just happen, it is created.

Before there was a product, before there was a company, there was a problem. I couldn't swing a hammer in my forge. I couldn't cook the way I normally would. My shoulder had sidelined me, so I took a circular saw blade and made something just to get by.

That was the first version of NULU.

At the time, it wasn't about building a business or creating something for anyone else. It was about solving a problem I was dealing with in that moment. But once I realized it worked, the question became: could it help other people too?

That's where things got difficult.

There were a lot of headwinds. People in the culinary world didn't see the need. Others thought it was a bad idea, or something that wouldn't go anywhere. That's part of the process when you're trying to do something different — especially when it challenges how people think things should already be done.

What I've learned is that if the goal is impact, you have to stay focused on that and tune out the noise around it. Whether you're building a product, supporting a community, or solving a problem people don't even realize has a better solution yet — there will always be resistance.

But this is what persistence can lead to.

Today, NULU is helping people in the disabled community, the senior community, and people who rely on their hands every day to keep doing the things that matter to them. That outcome is what made pushing through all of it worth it.

On the competition side, things have shifted a bit — we're currently sitting in 3rd place. The top 20 out of 88 move forward, and we're going to get there, but this is a good reminder of how much daily support matters.

End of round 1 entrepreneur of impact 2026 update and standings. NULU standings and need for votes.

There are about 12 hours left in round one. As we move into round two and beyond, consistent daily votes are what's going to carry us forward.
