Entrepreneur of Impact - 4/9/2026 - DAY 6, ROUND: Impact Through Insight and Standings
I'm sharing a clip from a podcast I recently joined, The Scoop on the Vet SOS Network, hosted by Kingsley Scott Jr. In this conversation, we explored something that sits at the core of NULU: how we define disability—and how that definition shapes both product design and personal outcomes.
Too often, disability is treated as a fixed identity. What we've found is that it's more useful to think of it as a state tied to specific tasks. When you shift that perspective, it opens the door to better decisions—both for individuals and for the companies serving them.
For individuals, it can mean letting go of a label and focusing on what actually works. For companies, it means designing products that are not only functional, but adaptable—products that meet people where they are and expand what they're able to do.
That's where the real impact comes from.
When people start using well-designed tools that align with how they actually move and function, momentum builds. One change leads to another, and over time, it creates a broader shift in independence and confidence. That's the outcome we're working toward.

On the competition front, we're in a strong position—thanks to your support. We're currently sitting 2nd out of 20 in Round 2. This round ends today, and while we expect to advance as part of the top 15, your vote still matters.
It takes just a few seconds and helps us carry momentum into the next round.
